The world’s leading AV system integration and communications company, Crestron, will be showcasing its very latest technologies on Booth C35 at Mediatech Africa. Attendees will get the opportunity to experience Crestron’s new generation of collaborative, immersive solutions for corporate applications, designed to make communication as intuitive as possible. Crestron will demonstrate truly unified communication services of its Fusion® monitoring and scheduling software, alongside its new, powerful UC and AV all-in-one tabletop meeting room solution, Mercury.
Held at the TicketProDome, Johannesburg, on 19-21 July 2017, Mediatech Africa is a biennal advanced media and entertainment technology trade show where new technologies and services from industry leaders in AV system integration and communication are showcased. Making its debut in the African market will be Crestron Mercury™ - the ultimate all-in-one meeting and collaboration solution which combines all the must-have conferencing features along with fast, secure cloud deployment and management required by IT managers.
Crestron will also be demonstrating its latest DigitalMedia™ development, the DM® NVX Series. This new technology makes it possible to securely transmit stunning 4K60 4:4:4 HDR video over standard 1Gigabit Ethernet, with no latency – an industry first. DM® NVX delivers a vastly scalable, high-performance solutions for enterprise-wide 4K content distribution allowing employees to work in ultra-high quality; meaning presentations and video are more impactful than ever before.
Also on display will be Fusion®, Crestron’s monitoring and scheduling software which has been streamlined for the ultimate ease in purchasing, installation, and after-care support, alongside its room scheduling panels. Fusion integrates systems and technologies that typically operate in silos so they work together as a single system. Users of Crestron Fusion receive all the popular features and functionalities that they could want from scheduling software including network room scheduling, a remote help desk, global device management, and data collection and reporting.
For the presentation market Crestron’s 3-Series® 4K DigitalMedia™ Presentation System provides a complete 4K AV presentation control and signal routing solution for boardrooms and classrooms and the new DMPS3-4K300 and 200-C models will be on the booth for visitors to explore. This impressive solution integrates the control system, matrix switcher, video scaler, mic mixer, audio DSP, amplifier, and DigitalMedia distribution center all into a single 3-space rackmount package. It affords substantial signal routing flexibility and high-performance signal processing without the need for separate components. Built-in .AV Framework™ enables simplified configuration and control without programming.
Further Crestron products on display will include its new modular utility amplifiers, the AMP-1200 and AMP-2100, the HD-WP-4K-401 multi window video processor, HD-MD400 HD Scaling Auto-Switcher & Extender, as well as a home automation demo area highlighting Crestron Pyng®, Studio and Sonos integration.
