Cobham, Surrey – June 13, 2017 – Crestron, a global leader in enterprise control and automation technology, will showcase Crestron Mercury™, the most complete, easy to use, easy to deploy and manage tabletop meeting and collaboration solution, at InfoComm® 2017, June 14 – 16, in Orlando, FL. The sleek Crestron Mercury console is all that’s needed for conference calls, wired and wireless presentation, and web conferencing. Crestron Mercury is a full open SIP phone, features HDMI®, USB, and Ethernet connectivity, built-in Bluetooth® connectivity and a Crestron AirMedia® wireless presentation gateway, and supports any collaboration application running on the connected laptop. Plus, the simple, secure enterprise provisioning and management makes it easy for IT managers to deploy Crestron Mercury in every space across the enterprise. Live demonstrations are available at Crestron booth 1900.
“Crestron Mercury doesn’t lock you into any one UC platform,” said Ted Colton, VP of UC Strategy at Crestron. “It enables an organisation to leverage whatever SIP server and web conferencing platform they’re currently using, while supporting any other collaboration platform guests may bring into the meeting. Crestron Mercury simply makes meetings better.”
Crestron Mercury enables users to instantly and securely present content wirelessly on the room display from a laptop, smartphone, or tablet using the built-in AirMedia wireless presentation gateway.
Crestron Mercury features a built-in precision-engineered speaker and microphones to deliver exceptional sounding phone calls. With its built-in open SIP phone, you can make calls directly from Crestron Mercury, or pair it with our mobile devices via Bluetooth.
Crestron Mercury supports any web collaboration application, such as Skype® for business, Cisco WebEx®, GotoMeeting® or Slack®. Simply connect your laptop for a professional conference or collaboration experience. Alternatively, Crestron Mercury can be configured to run native for Skype for Business or the Zoom UX, so a laptop is not needed to make audio or video calls, only to share content.
Measure and secure
Crestron Mercury features a built-in occupancy sensor that enables facility managers to collect usage data to drive efficient room utilisation. And IT managers can rest easy knowing Mercury meets the latest enterprise security standards.
Available collaboration spaces equipped with Mercury can be located quickly and easily thanks to the built-in Crestron PinPoint™ proximity detection beacon. Direct connectivity with Microsoft Exchange® enables users to view room availability and meeting details on the in-room display.
